A new chapter for a beloved corner
For 13 years, this kitchen was known as The Broken Yolk Cafe. When the time came for a refresh, we used a quiet stretch during the pandemic to renovate top to bottom — new logos, new tables, new booths — and reopened as WiseCracks Cafe.
Our goal was simple: honor the location's long history so longtime patrons still feel at home, while creating a fresh, exciting atmosphere for a new generation. We came back stronger than ever, and we're aiming for another 40 years of breakfast in Corvallis.
